Prescription Drug Coverage

Original Medicare and Medicare Supplement plans do not include prescription drug coverage. For this important coverage, Medicare works with insurance carriers to offer Part D, which is a standalone prescription drug plan.

Whether you have many prescriptions or just a few, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico offers Part D prescription drug plans that work for your budget. We have a variety of plans to fit different prescription drug needs, all with large nationwide pharmacy networks.

IMPORTANT: If you are eligible for a Retiree Group Medicare plan, some of this information may not apply to you. Please ask your employer or benefit administrator about your Medicare options, eligibility and enrollment information.
